• Our purpose is to encourage and enable the creative impulse within civil society in its quest for social forms that better reflect our humanity.
  
  
• Let’s start taking ourselves seriously and putting practice at the heart of our thinking and doing.
  
  
• Let’s risk failure to enable our learning.
  
  
• Let’s try to promote, foster and celebrate the beauty of the human spirit in all, by vigorously striving to awaken and develop our own human consciousness.
  
  
• Let’s acknowledge the diversity within the sector.
  
  
• Let’s acknowledge that the knowledge, power and creativity needed for the sector is already here, wanting and waiting to surface.
  
  
• Let’s work with communities (rather than for them) and together find the spirit of dignity and respect.
