Neo Muyaga |
Neo Muyanga is a composer and musician based in Cape Town.
Best known for his work with the acoustic duo, Blk Sonshine, his musical life spans a broad range of interests including composing for choir, contemporary dance, theatre and film.Neo tours extensively as a solo performer and as leader of an improvisational jazz ensemble. He has won several prestigious commissions and residencies, including creating works for the British arts consultancy, Metal Culture, as well as for the Drama Department at the University of Cape Town.
Currently, Neo is serving as co-curator of the newly formulated Spier Experimental Music Festival.
