Liz Smith

Liz Smith, social eurythmist, works in a unique way to enable congruence in individuals, groups and organisations. 
Leading groups in eurythmy - an art of movement founded on the creative principles of all living process - and using coaching methodology, she sensitively generates awareness, personal responsibility and a “3-dimensional” consciousness, thus awakening capacity for meaningful perception of the complex dynamics of community relationship. 
Enabling new, creative ways of seeing - leading to fundamental shifts in thinking, feeling and acting - is key to her work.
Using eurythmy as an organisational development tool she stimulates deep, integrated learning primarily in NGO’s and educational institutions, but also facilitates learning programmes in the corporate environment.  She has a long association with CDRA contributing to OD Events, courses and in-house staff development. 
Ongoing personal research in Goethean approaches to understanding the living world, particularly as developed by the philosopher Rudolf Steiner, underlies her significant contribution to The Proteus Initiative, of which she is a director and associate member.
Qualifications - Bachelor of Commerce (Economics), Eurythmy Diploma specialising in the work environment, and currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Business Coaching from the South African College of Applied Psychology.
Liz Smith lives in Cape Town.
